Student Promotion Coordinator (SPC):
Just the Facts

WHO
Any student who has an engaging personality; who enjoys
being around people; who is fun and outgoing; who is
looked upon by other students as a “key influencer” on
campus; and who would enjoy the responsibility of being
in charge of a campus dining promotional event.

WHAT
The Student Promotion Coordinator is a person who
becomes a temporary part of the campus dining team, and
under the direction of the general manager or other
assigned team member, is responsible for the coordination
and hosting of campus dining promotions.

WHEN
A Student Promotion Coordinator can be retained:
• once at the beginning of the school year to coordinate
promotions throughout that year;
• on a promotion by promotion basis to encourage more
student involvement;
• in groups (or teams) to create competition to see which
team does the best job on a given promotion;
• in any number of additional ways that best meets the
needs of each account.
